Playing a game of imaginary bus stop, car wash, or even fire fighter in a child's mind is their biggest accomplishment, of their life time. With little to no outside props, their imagination runs wild and the laughter joins it. A child needs to learn sharing, problem solving, peer skills, and independence at a young age, or they may never come to understand it. A recent survey by Princeton Review showed that College Freshman have little to no social skills and trouble making friends, which leads to a drop in academic performance. Those skills necessary to thrive in adulthood are learned only in childhood.
